The best productivity tools for founders

Methodology
I scored each tool on five weighted criteria: versatility (weight 3), ease of use (2), value for money (2), collaboration (2) and focus and async (1). Every score runs from 0 to 10, and the overall is the weighted sum out of 100, so versatility carries the most because a founder''s productivity tool is rarely doing one narrow job.
Pricing and features were verified against each vendor''s own pages in June 2026 and are written in USD. Several pricing pages render their numbers in a browser only and geo-pin to local currency, so I read them in a real browser with USD selected rather than trusting a thin page. Where a free tier exists I said so plainly, and where a feature is gated behind a paid tier I named the tier and the price.
Honesty note: four of these tools pay us a commission , Airtable, Coda, Todoist and SaneBox , and Miro through a separate network; Loom pays us nothing. You can see that in where they land: the highest-paying relationships did not buy a higher rank, and SaneBox, which we are affiliated with, sits last on merit. The ranking follows the research. If a relationship changes, the disclosure changes with it, and the ranking does not move because of it.
