Methodology

I scored each tool on five weighted criteria: call quality (weight 3), features (2), ease of use (2), value for money (2) and integrations (1). Every score runs from 0 to 10, and the overall is the weighted sum out of 100, so call quality carries the most , a phone system that drops calls is not a phone system, whatever else it does well.

Pricing and features were verified against each vendor's own pages in June 2026 and are written in USD, per user or per licence per month unless stated. I read the pricing in a real browser rather than trusting a thin page, and I have said plainly where a headline price hides a per-licence minimum, where calling minutes are metered on top of the seat price rather than included, and where a business-critical feature like IVR or CRM sync is gated to a higher tier than the one advertised.

Honesty note: all three of these tools pay us a commission through the same affiliate network, PartnerStack. Because the affiliate relationship is identical across the whole field, it cannot tilt the ranking , every tool here pays us the same way, so the order is decided entirely on the research. The tool that wins, wins on its merits; the tool that finishes last finishes last on its merits, affiliate relationship and all. If a relationship changes, the disclosure changes with it, and the ranking does not move because of it.
