Programmatic SEO
Programmatic SEO is generating many search-optimised pages at scale from a structured data source and a template, rather than writing each one by hand. Think of pages like "[tool] alternatives", "[city] [service]", or "[integration A] vs [integration B]", where the same layout is filled with different data to target hundreds or thousands of long-tail queries.
For a founder with a database of useful information, this can be a powerful, low-marginal-cost growth channel: build the template once, and every new data row becomes a page that can rank. Many SaaS companies owe a large share of their organic traffic to it. The danger is thin, near-duplicate pages that add no real value, which Google penalises hard. Done well, each page must genuinely answer the query with unique, useful data, not just swapped-in keywords. Treat it as a data and quality problem, not a volume play, and start with queries you know your buyers actually search.
